* Pre-holiday days, on which the duration of work is reduced by one hour.
The list of non-working holidays in the Russian Federation has not changed for several years. Accordingly, the dates of holidays and pre-holiday days in 2017 will be the same as before.
In the general case, the duration of the pre-holiday working day according to the Labor Code is reduced by 1 hour (Article 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). And if the holiday is immediately preceded by a day off, then on the previous working day, the working time is not reduced. In this regard, not all pre-holiday days in 2017 in Russia are short.
Shortened pre-holiday days in 2017
How many pre-holiday days in 2017 will be reduced by an hour? According to the calendar, not much. Short pre-holiday days in 2017 are February 22 (Wednesday), March 7 (Tuesday) and November 3 (Friday). In our pre-holiday days with a reduced working day are marked with an asterisk.
The remaining 4 pre-holiday days in 2017 coincide with the weekend.
Pre-holiday days in 2017, taking into account the postponement of the weekend
The general rule is that if a non-working holiday and a weekend coincide, the latter is transferred to the next business day. In 2017, this situation develops on November 4: the date fell on Saturday, so the usual day off will be November 6 - Monday.
But this rule does not apply to public holidays from 1 to 8 January. Weekends that fell during this period are transferred to other working days of the calendar year (Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). The procedure for postponing the corresponding days off is determined annually by the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2017, it is postponed (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 08/04/2016 N 756):
- Sunday 1 January to Friday 24 February;
- Saturday 7 January to Monday 8 May.
Thanks to these transfers, the working population will have 4 consecutive days of rest on Defender of the Fatherland Day and 4 more days on Victory Day.
Note that these transfers do not affect the number of shortened pre-holiday days in 2017.
No, the length of the working day on May 5 is standard, like on regular Fridays. According to article 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the duration of the working day preceding the holiday is reduced by one hour. But we are talking only about the case when the working day falls directly on the eve of the holiday.
This year, Victory Day is celebrated on Tuesday, while Monday is also a day off (see Government Decree No. 756 of 04.08.2016). This became possible in connection with the postponement of the festive Saturday, which fell on Christmas Day, January 7, to the upcoming Monday, May 8.
What are the options
Option 1
On May 5, a short working day can be arranged by conscious administrations of enterprises and companies who understand that some of their employees have already opened the summer season, and they need to start early from the evening city for long weekends so as not to get stuck in traffic jams. If the leadership does not have dachas, then the leadership can be hinted at.
Variant 2
Employees, united, can speak with collective offer to organize any public benefit. For example, a subbotnik is an excellent occasion for the administration to put things in order in the adjacent territory, and declare May 5 a short working day, releasing employees an hour earlier than usual.
Option 3
Work from call to call. Which, of course, is correct from the point of view of labor discipline and corporate ethics, although it does not contribute to increasing the loyalty of the team.
In Catholicism, Christmas is one of the three most important holidays, along with Easter and Pentecost. Every year on December 25, believers celebrate this solemn event - Catholic Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.It is known that Jesus was born at night, so the main celebrations are also held at night. The most popular question is when does this happen: from December 24 to 25, or from December 25 to 26, 2019?
In the Roman Catholic Church, the celebration is held according to the Gregorian calendar. on the night of December 24 to December 25. Several masses are held, such as the Midnight Mass, the Aurora Mass to greet the Dawn, and the Afternoon Mass.
That is, when Catholic Christmas is celebrated in 2019:
* Date - December 25, 2019
* Celebration - on the night of December 24-25, 2019
Here's what should be on the New Year's table in the year of the Rat:
* So, pie on the table is a must! With cabbage, meat, fish or sweet - any pie is attractive to a rodent.
* Salads can be divided into portions into tartlets.
* We recommend stuffing a baked bird (goose, duck or chicken) with rice in addition to apples and prunes, and when serving, decorate it beautifully fresh herbs and nuts.
* Considering mouse preference, don't forget salad with grated cheese or cheese slices. Lean varieties of well-cooked and thinly sliced meats can also grace the table.
* Don't forget about fruits. A vase with beautifully arranged apples, pears and grapes will please the mouse very much.
* Dishes from potatoes and carrots. The owners of cellars, who store winter stocks there, know firsthand about the love of rodents for these vegetables.
