A list of venues has been approved in the capital, where citizens will be allowed to launch pyrotechnics on New Year's holidays. This is 112 points in all districts. They will meet all fire safety requirements.

In the center of Moscow, two sites were chosen for independent launching of fireworks both are located in the parks:

the largest one - for two thousand people - will appear in Tagansky Park (Taganskaya Street, houses 40-42);

One site for 150 people is provided in the north of the capital.

As the press service of the Moscow Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told, points for self-launching fireworks will be available on New Year's holidays.

“More than 500 personnel of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the city of Moscow and 12 units of fire and rescue equipment will ensure security at city facilities during this period,” the press service said.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations emphasized that it is necessary to purchase pyrotechnics in specialized stores, and Muscovites were also recommended to require a certificate of conformity for products from outlets. In no case should you buy pyrotechnics in the markets. Due to non-compliance with temperature and humidity conditions, pyrotechnics may not work or explode prematurely, which can result in serious injury.

“The second main rule is to carefully read the instructions. Sometimes it is enough to move five meters away from the fireworks, and somewhere the radius should be at least 30 meters, ”the press service of the capital’s Ministry of Emergencies noted.
