On October 3, the Europa Hotel hosted the fifth round table on the topic: “Projects of European Funds”. The moderator of the round table was Anne Veevo. At the meeting, topics such as the reconstruction of fortresses and bastions, energy-saving lighting of the central streets of the city, the reconstruction of border railway stations, the development of promenades and coastal zones, the reconstruction of Krenholm Park and the development of industrial zones were discussed.

dark leaden,

there will be a garden city!" (V. Mayakovsky)

The discussion was attended by: head of the Narva district of the Center Party Andrus Tamm, deputy of the Riigikogu Eldar Efendiev, candidates for deputy from the Center Party. According to the Deputy Director of the Narva Department of Economics and Development Anne Veevo, the period 2014-2020 is the time when not only the Ministry determines its priorities in the development of European funds, but also the city of Narva should think about what projects it would like to implement in this period:

We must focus on those projects that would give the maximum economic and social benefits to our city, create the greatest number of jobs, and contribute to the development of tourism. We should also think about the implementation of those projects that would be of interest to the youth of our city. The city of Narva should become comfortable for both young people and middle-aged people to live.

We must take into account the conditions of the programs of the European Union Funds, which will be supported in the next programming period. Today we have joint projects with Ivangorod and Kingisep. We want to implement these projects together. As an example, I will name some cross-border cooperation projects that have been selected as priorities: the development of coastal zones and promenades in both Narva and Ivangorod, the construction of a new bus station in Ivangorod, the reconstruction of the railway station in Narva (in order to combine the bus station terminal and the railway station) , development of the industrial area in Narva, reconstruction of transit roads (Tallinn highway, Kerese, Rahu), energy-saving lighting in the city, a network of pedestrian and bicycle paths both in the city of Narva and a cycle path to Narva-Jõesuu, continuation of the bicycle path from the Peteristi gardens to the Laagna hotel .

Also of no small importance is the second stage of the development of Joaorg Narva Park, which involves the creation of a network of bicycle and pedestrian paths, as well as the improvement of the upper level of Joaorg Park and much more. All projects are very interesting. All of them are connected with the urban environment and with the creation of new attractive jobs and attracting tourists to our region, which will provide indirect income and will contribute to the development of entrepreneurship.

The main point that city officials focused on is the social and economic situation in the city, in terms of the outflow of the population, especially the young.

As was said at the round table, the first phase of the reconstruction of Joaorg Beach should be completed next year. The project must be awesome. At the first stage, the main infrastructure will be built: an administrative building, communications will be carried out. The second phase of Joaorg Park development is planned for the period 2014-2020.

According to Ivangorod city officials, these international projects are necessary for both Narva and Ivangorod. Each side should help each other in the implementation of the planned projects.

We actively help each other, we have excellent relations with the city authorities of Narva. We found understanding. Of course, there are difficulties when discussing projects, but this is quite natural. These are working moments that we solve together. Today we are actively working together on all projects, - summed up Lyubov Razgulina, chairman of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the city of Ivangorod.

But the whisper is louder than hunger -
it covers drops of recession:
"After four years
there will be a garden city!

Here the explosions will cackle
In dispersal of bear gangs,
And the bowels of the mine will blow up
sub-coal "Giant".

Here the construction sites will be erected with walls.
Hoots, steam, sipi.
We are a hundred suns like open-hearths
Let's set fire to Siberia.

Here they will give us a good house
and sieve without soldering,
thrown back beyond Baikal
The taiga will move back."

The whisper of the worker grew
Above the darkness of fat herds,
and then unintelligible
only heard - "garden city".

VLADIMIR MAYAKOVSKY
Khrenov's story about Kuznetskstroy and the people of Kuznetsk

1,000,000 wagons will be brought to this place in the five-year period building materials. There will be a metallurgy giant, a coal giant and a city of hundreds of thousands of people.

From conversation.

Clouds are running across the sky, the twilight is squeezed by the rains, the workers are lying under the old cart. And he hears the whisper of the proud water and under and over: "In four years there will be a city-garden!" It is dark, leaden, and the rain is thick, like a tourniquet, the workers are sitting in the mud, sitting, burning a torch. The lips are drained from the cold, but the lips whisper in harmony: "In four years there will be a city-garden here!" The dankness has reduced to writhing - unimportant wet comfort, workers are sitting in the dark, chewing wet bread. But the whisper is louder than hunger - it covers drops of recession: “In four years there will be a garden city here! Here explosions will cackle to disperse bear gangs, and the hundred-cornered “Giant” will blow up the bowels of the mine. Construction sites will rise here with walls. suns will ignite Siberia with open-hearths. Here they will give us a good house and a sieve one without rations, and the taiga, thrown back behind Baikal, will retreat." The worker's whisper grew over the theme of fat herds, and then it was unintelligible, only audible - "garden city". I know - the city will be, I know - the garden will bloom when there are such people in the Soviet country!

Fucking, Iulian Petrovich (1901-1939) - an acquaintance of Mayakovsky, a participant in the construction of the Kuznetsk Iron and Steel Works. Party member since 1918. In the years civil war- political worker. In 1922 - Secretary of the Presidium of the Central Council of the Union of Metalworkers. In 1929 he was sent to Kuznetskstroy. In 1933 he was appointed assistant secretary of the Donetsk regional party committee. In December 1933, by order of the People's Commissariat for Heavy Machinery of the USSR, I.P. Khrenov was appointed deputy director of the Novokramatorsk machine-building plant under construction, and after construction was completed in 1935, he was appointed director of the Slavyansk insulator plant.

The artist N. Denisovsky recalls: “I met Iulian Petrovich Khrenov at the apartment of V. V. Mayakovsky, who loved him very much. interesting about the heroic deeds of the people of Kuznetskstroy.

V. V. Mayakovsky, carried away by his story, wrote a poem "Khrenov's story about Kuznetskstroy and the people of Kuznetsk" ("Komsomol banner", Kiev, 1965, August 8),

The poem written by Mayakovsky reached the builders of Kuznetsk. The writer Alexander Smerdov, who was a correspondent at that time, recalled the mobilizing effect of Mayakovsky's poetic stanzas: "One of our lad-reinforcement workers read Mayakovsky's poem to the builders in the days when the concrete foundation for the first blast furnace was being prepared. The cold was such that the concrete workers did not have time to knead concrete, as it turned into stone, but the masons nevertheless laid the foundation. Buran strove to brush off the scaffolding of the carpenters who built the greenhouses over the future workshops, the frost so calcined the iron that the palms of the fitters froze to it, but the carpenters lifted the scaffolding higher and higher, the fitters they bent iron rods and wove the frames of workshops out of them. When the brigade comrades began to complain about the frost, the fitter Volodya, a Komsomol member, shouted out Mayakovsky's verses in a chilled voice:

The lips are drained from the cold, but the lips whisper in harmony: "In four years there will be a garden city here!

The lyrics worked very well...(B. Chelyshev. "Search, meetings, finds." Kemerovo book publishing house, 1963, p. 23).

Former chief construction engineer (later vice-president of the USSR Academy of Sciences) Ivan Pavlovich Bardin recalled the impression that Mayakovsky's poems made on the builders of Kuznetskstroy

"I would like ... to note that the appropriate participation of writers is of great benefit, - he said in one of his speeches.- So, the poet Mayakovsky, in the most, perhaps, difficult times of the life of Kuznetskstroy, at the moment when the first commission that arrived at the construction site "fluffed" us to smithereens, wrote his "The Story of Kuznetskstroy and the people of Kuznetsk" ... By this, he supported our spirit, and we continued the work we had begun and considered it the most important thing in the realization of our dream "(Quoted from the book: B. Chelyshev. "Searchs, meetings, finds", Kemerovo book publishing house, 1963, pp. 25 - 26 ).
