Stage 1. Draw general form our route. On paper, we build a large rectangle almost along the entire perimeter of the sheet. These are the boundaries of our route. We divide it into several parts by road lines. Each road consists of two lines. We will have two roads here: one, long, along the sheet, the other, shorter - across, it connects to the long road, but does not cross it. That is, we have two streets on the route. At the bottom of the left side of the sheet, draw four rectangles. These are houses on your street, one of them, the most extreme, will be your place of residence.

Stage 2. Now we draw the lines of footpaths - sidewalks. These are straight lines, parallel to each other at a distance narrower than the lines of carriageways. Here we will depict the outlines of the school. At the top of the sheet, draw a rectangle - the school yard, and in it we will show the building of your educational institution.

Stage 3. Now we will mark two buildings with crosses: the school and your house. Then, with dotted lines, we will depict your way from school home along the school yard, then along one sidewalk, then crossing the road through a pedestrian crossing, then along another sidewalk, and so on until your house. This is your daily journey from home to school and back.

Stage 4. At this stage, near the sidewalks from different sides, we will draw objects with rectangles, near which we pass along the road. This is a large rectangle - a hypermarket and small squares - shops. They are opposite each other at the pedestrian crossing. Behind the shops, we denote a distant object with a curved line - the border of the park.

Stage 5. Now we will draw another footpath across the roadway, in front of your house across road three residential buildings similar to yours. Behind them, a little further away, we will place a large oval - this is a stadium. It is also a distant object.

Stage 6. Here we will color our route. Let's do it at home blue color. Orange stadium. A green park, a hypermarket and lilac shops, a gray school. Roads for cars are light gray, sidewalks are dark gray. We will highlight your route of movement with a red dotted line.

Stage 7. It remains to put inscriptions on the elements of our route. Make them clearly black on light objects and white on dark objects.

Dear parents! When preparing a child to travel independently to and from school, to reduce the risk of child injury and prevent dangerous situations, discuss with the child his safe path along the route "Home - School - Home". The route to school should not necessarily be the shortest, not necessarily the fastest, but definitely the safest for your child.

Have a conversation with your child about safe behavior on the street. Have the children at the beginning of the conversation name the dangers they have to face on the street. It is worth analyzing in particular detail all possible situations. The list of hazards could be, for example, the following: moving cars, busy roads and everything connected with them; cars and others vehicles parked in yards and on roadsides; buildings, trees and other objects blocking the view of pedestrians; slippery roads and sidewalks; sewer hatches; scaffolding, ladders, etc.; icicles on the roofs of houses in the winter-spring period; lack of lighting; animals (aggressive street and domestic dogs; cats and birds as a source of transmission of infections, etc.); people prone to aggressive behavior (drunk, inadequate, etc.); street robbers and hooligans. Your task is not to frighten children, but to warn them of possible dangers. Therefore, when conducting conversations on this topic, you must be careful and take into account individual psychological features your child.

Go around with your child all the nearby streets, noting potential dangerous places. When choosing a safe option, the easiest and safest street crossing places for the child are selected. A pedestrian crossing with a traffic light is safer than a pedestrian crossing without a traffic light, a street and areas where it is not difficult to cross the carriageway (there are no dense bushes, trees, standing cars, especially large ones) are safer than a street with standing cars and other objects covering review, etc.

Designate safety islands. They can be: a school (there is almost always a security guard there), a grocery store and a bank (for the same reason), a police station, a fire department, a library, etc.

Draw a plan of the developed route, putting it on the street map from home to school. Of course, the drawing with paints looks more colorful, but it is difficult to write small details on it. At the same time, drawing with a pencil will allow the child to draw small details. Only now you need to pick up pencils not pale, but bright - then it will be pleasant to draw with them.

    The drawing can depict houses, trees, a road, cars and buses, and other students. You can detail the drawing with the image of a traffic light on the road, a pedestrian crossing.

    Then it is best not to go into a detailed plan, the child will not understand it, and even more so it is not worth drawing a map.

    If there is no printer (as we had), you can simply put a sheet of paper on the screen and carefully draw the streets and houses that appear through the sheet. Next, paint with the desired colors.     If the task is simply to create a drawing (for elementary school students), then we do it simply: we take pencils or paints and start creating: we draw our small house in the lower left corner. If the school is nearby, we draw neighboring houses, a yard, trees.

Preparing to draw a route sheet from home to school

“A safe way to the kindergarten, this is not for you somehow. Don't forget to map this route. Our parents will help us choose the right path. The road is not terrible for those who are attentive from the threshold!

Today my story is about a new project in which we took part relevance of the chosen project topic. Life itself and the desire to protect our children prompts us to repeatedly turn to the topic of training traffic rules. Statistics show that it is children who do not have basic knowledge of the rules of the road. Another reason is that preschoolers do not yet know how to control their behavior and cannot always foresee possible danger. Many of us see how some irresponsible parents, always rushing to kindergarten in the morning, violate traffic rules and motivate this by the fact that they are late for work: they run across a red traffic light, do not fasten their children, drive without child seats. Children perceive this as the norm and may repeat this experience in the future. Therefore, the goal of our work was the desire to form in children a stable skill of conscious safe behavior on the streets and roads, to consolidate knowledge of traffic rules.

The tasks of teachers and parents in the work on the project were the following:

1. Introduce children to a safe route from home to kindergarten.

2. Show children all road hazards and explain how to avoid them.

3. Teach how to use the acquired knowledge in practice.

4. To help children in the image of a safe route from home to kindergarten and in the ability to talk about it and the dangers that exist on this route.

During the project with children were the following activities have been carried out:

Usage didactic games knowledge of road signs;


Carried out conversations on the topic: "Road signs are our friends", "Do not forget the rules and follow the road";

- reviewing the album "Traffic Rules Worthy of Respect" with further discussion of road hazards and how to avoid them;

- conducting a survey of children(exercise “Finish the sentence”: “If I violate the rules of the road, then ...”);


- role-playing games and games with the constructor using road signs;



- painted dangers that are encountered on the way to kindergarten.



During the project, the children presented images of their routes from their home to the kindergarten, talking about the dangers and road signs along the way. Some parents helped the children and printed out an electronic version of the route.



Most of the children chose to draw their own route from home to kindergarten. I present some of them.

The result of the work was the creation of an album (portfolio of this project) with the image of the routes of children from home to kindergarten.

weighty addition to this project was a joint decision of teachers (educator, teacher-psychologist and senior educator) and parents to take

participation in the All-Russian quiz "Smeshariki: ABC of safety" on traffic rules.

The children liked this training very much, as it was entertaining and took place in a playful way.

The quiz included:

1. Viewing a series of educational cartoons "Smeshariki: The ABC of Security", in which children learned about how to behave on the road and what causes non-observance of the basic rules of the road. They were told about this by friends-smeshariki. During the review, 20 dangerous situations that may arise on the road were considered, and exactly the same number of simple and intelligible explanations as not to please in such situations.

2. Active use of didactic games according to traffic rules. The game is one of the forms of activity interesting for the child, including the assimilation of the rules of road behavior. With the help of exciting and educational games on traffic rules, the child comprehends the laws of the road.

3. Tasks for testing knowledge (by the type of exam). Each child answered a variety of questions on traffic rules, fixing the answers. Exactly these tasks helped children to fix and respond correctly to any traffic situation, to make the necessary decisions independently. The tasks were very useful and interesting for development logical thinking, imagination, ingenuity and prudence. We then sent these answer cards to e-mail and began to wait for an answer.

Result achieved:

1. All children got acquainted with a safe way from home to kindergarten: with the dangers on the road, road signs and their meanings, the groups received important knowledge that consolidated their knowledge of traffic rules.

2. The children of the group have developed stable skills for safe compliance with and implementation of traffic rules on the street and roads of the city.

3. The project contributed to the enrichment of the children's vocabulary. Children actively began to use words such as “moving”, “crossing”, “sidewalk” and others in speech. “Children got acquainted with such concepts as “safety island”, “warning, prohibition, informational signs”, “railway train without a barrier” and others. The children also learned the meaning of the new road signs.

4. The interest of children contributed to the increase speech activity children, the emergence of a desire to independently learn new information on traffic rules. During the project, the children asked many questions about the rules and road signs.

5. Parents began to pay more attention to this issue

6. The project strengthened friendly relations between parents, children and employees, contributed to the desire to cooperate and help children in its implementation.

7. All children participating in the quiz (24 children) received a participation certificate and a pedestrian license.



The rest of the guys (5 children) who were absent during the quiz, unfortunately, could not take part in it.
