What is a moral choice? In my opinion, this is a situation in which a person has to make difficult decisions for himself for the benefit of another person.

I will try to prove the validity of my point of view, based on the text of E. Yu Shima and my own life experience. Verochka decided to set fire to the rocket, which Seryozha and Pavlik carried into the yard. While the wick burned, she stood at a dangerous distance from the rocket and did not move away. Gosha, seeing this at the last moment, pushed Verochka away and jumped on the rocket with his stomach.

Reflecting on this question, I cannot but recall the Great Patriotic War. When a grenade fell into the ranks of a soldier and one of the soldiers, sacrificing his life, lay down on the grenade, thereby saving his comrades.

Summing up, we can say that moral choice is an important part in the life of any person.

Whatever decision we make, he teaches us to be responsible for our actions.

Option number 2. According to E. Shim. The boys left the yard

Part 1

.

Part 2

(1) The guys left the yard, collect camping equipment. (2) Only Gosh remained. (3) On duty at the entrance and waiting for someone ...

(4) Finally she appeared. (5) A mysterious creature of thirteen years old, an incredible beauty with a smile from ear to ear, with golden eyes,
with a thin waist. (6) Vera.

- (7) Hello, - Verochka says and shudders. - (8) It's still cold ... (9) Give me a jacket.

(10) Gosha throws a jacket over her shoulders, remains in one T-shirt, and the skin on his hands becomes covered with pimples.

- (11) Did your father bring anything from England?

- (12) Yeah. (13) Here, look, a transistor.

- (14) Did you bring something to your mother? (15) Spirits, for example? (16) Bring to see.

- (17) But how can I ... (18) Vera, I ... (19) Well, it's uncomfortable ...

- (20) Then stand on your head. (21) Well?!

- (22) Come on, Verk ... (23) Don't ...

- (24) Now stand on your head!

- (25) Well, please ...

(26) Gosha approaches the wall, gets down on all fours and, after several unsuccessful attempts, makes a stand. (27) Verochka is watching
behind him sternly, like a coach.

- (28) Who is in charge? she asks.

- (29) Well, you ...

- (30) Roll over. (31) And drag the spirits. (32) Otherwise I’ll make you stand on your head all day!

(33) Wiping his palms on his T-shirt, Gosha tramples helplessly, blinks, but Verochka is relentless. (34) And then, giving her the transistor, Gosha trudges to his apartment.

- (36) This is a rocket, - Seryozhka reports impressively. - (37) Let's launch in the forest.

(38) Vera condescendingly watches how the boys are messing around
with a rocket, how they carefully put it on the steps of the entrance, and they themselves go for backpacks.

(39) After waiting for the boys to hide on the stairs, Gosh goes out into the yard. (40) He looks around, hands Verochka a blue shiny bottle.

(41) Gosha is a little angry: he did not want to take this bottle, take it out slowly, but Verochka forced him. (42) To her, you see, her own whim is more expensive. (43) And Gosha is now angry and almost condescendingly talking to Verochka: (44) “On, look, if you want ...”

(45) Vera understands his condition. (46) And she doesn't like that Gosha is talking down. (47) Verochka's face becomes thoughtful. (48) She tilts her head to one side, squints. (49) Before, about three years ago, with such an expression, Vera rushed to fight (and fought cleaner than boys). (50) Now she doesn't fight. (51) There are other ways.

(52) She reluctantly takes the blue vial.

- (53) So, I understand ... (54) Do you have matches?

- (55) Matches? .. (56) Well, in a jacket ... look in your pocket.

- (57) Yeah. (58) Now set that tail on fire! - (59) Verochka points to the rocket left by the boys.

- (60) Why? .. - Gosha mumbles without thinking anything. - (61) What is it?

- (62) Bomb. (63) Let it bang.

- (64) Well! .. - Gosha mumbles in confusion. - (65) This is ...

- (66) Who is in charge?

- (67) Verka, stop it!

- (68) Oh right? - (69) Vera strikes a match and brings a light
to the missile tail. (70) Finally, something hissed, sparkled like butter
on a frying pan...

- (71) Verka! (72) Get away!..

(73) Vera defiantly stands over a smoky cardboard tube. (74) And here I see the beginning of the feat, its accomplishment and end. (75) Gosha, numb with horror Gosh, clinging to the wall with a twisted face, quiet, shy and timid Gosha suddenly pushes Verochka away and - flat on his stomach - falls on a rocket.

Concept definition

An example from life or literature

Moral Choice

A moral choice is a situation in which a person has to make or not make difficult decisions for himself for the benefit of another person or in accordance with his views and beliefs: am I ready to sacrifice my comfort and pleasure for the sake of another? Moral choice is an accurate indicator of the moral and ethical attitudes of a person in relations with the outside world.

Moral Choice - it is a choice between good and evil that a person makes in any difficult situation. This choice occurs not only in the most important, fateful decisions: to kill or be killed, to save oneself or save another at the cost of own life, and in any everyday situations: to give up a seat in transport or not, to be late or arrive on time for a meeting, to tell the truth or lie. We can say that the whole life of a person consists of a constant choice, including between good and evil.

Making this or that choice, each person proceeds from the peculiarities of his nature, mental, psychological and moral qualities, upbringing, temperament. The choice made, especially in the most difficult conditions, shows the moral maturity of a person, reveals his advantages and disadvantages. The more noble and morally higher a person is, the less he cares in serious situations about such consequences of a choice as deterioration of living conditions, loss of material comfort, and sometimes even life! The main thing for such a person is not to drop his honor, to act as his conscience requires.

Many times the hero of the story by A. S. Pushkin "The Captain's Daughter" found himself in a situation of choice. Pyotr Grinev. For the first time, a problem affecting choice confronts the main character, Pyotr Grinev. Entering into independent adulthood, he chooses pleasure and recklessness in some way, for example, to give the tramp a sheepskin coat. Although his choice is not devoid of gratitude and honesty.

Both Grinev and other heroes face a huge problem of choice when they are offered to join the ranks of the conspirators or remain loyal to the empress. There is already a moral choice: to die, but remain faithful to the oath, or to avoid execution, but become a traitor. Grinev chooses the first option, but Savelich saves him from death.

Due to Pugachev's help in saving Masha, Grinev is under investigation. At the trial, he decides (again, the choice of a person) not to talk about Masha, although this could save him and justify his being in the camp of enemies.

Pushkin, using the example of the hero of the novel, shows the problem of choice that every person faces. For him, the choice is inextricably linked with the honor of a person and with how much he values it, and how he understands it in general. The novel shows many different opinions on this matter, but the author himself suggests in the epigraph to protect it (honor) from a young age.

It would be nice for everyone who faces this or that moral choice to remember the lines of Yuri Levitansky:
    Everyone chooses for themselves
    Woman, religion, road.
Serve the devil or the prophet -
    Everyone chooses for themselves.

Mikhail Sholokhov writes about the difficulty and necessity of moral choice in his story “The Fate of a Man”. His hero, Andrei Sokolov, just like all people, is faced with the need to choose. The difference between his choice is that sometimes the fate of the people around him depended on his correct step. For the first time, life confronted him with a dilemma: to go to war or not to go to war. Although for the hero himself, such a question did not even stand. Andrey firmly decided to fight for the Motherland. And even the tears of his wife and heavy forebodings could not shake his decision.

The scene of Andrei's murder of the traitor is another indicator of the hero's moral choice. This scene is debatable. It is impossible to unequivocally justify the strangulation of a person only by the fact that he was a traitor. In addition, he still did not betray anyone, but only "frightened". But Andrei decides to put an end to the extramural traitor.
What justifies a hero? He is justified by the fact that he did this act for the benefit not of himself, but of another person.

More than once the hero will have to make a difficult choice: accept captivity or escape from it, live for himself or save little Vanyushka from loneliness. His choice is always in favor of good.

Paulo Coelho, Brazilian prose writer and poet, said: “A person must make a choice. This is his strength - in the power of decisions.

Examples of amazing deeds, dictated by the right choice of the moral path, we meet almost daily on the pages of the media, hear on the radio, see on television screens. Here is one example of many

A fifteen-year-old teenager from the Nizhny Novgorod region was returning home in the evening. In one of the windows he saw smoke. The young man rushed to the entrance, began to knock on all the doors. Trying to warn people of the danger. Then he heard cries for help (they came from the apartment where the fire was.) The door was ajar, but the elderly woman could not move without assistance. At the risk of his life, Vasily (that was the name of the hero) brought the pensioner out. Firefighters who arrived at the scene said that without the correct actions of the teenager, there could have been victims.

betrayed me native person betrayed me best friend. Unfortunately, we hear such statements quite often. Most often betray those in whom we have invested our soul. The pattern here is this: the more beneficence, the stronger the betrayal. In such situations, the “pin prick of a friend” is recalled.

Many suffer mockery of themselves, hoping that the traitor's conscience will wake up. But what is not there cannot wake up. Conscience is a function of the soul, and the traitor does not have it. The traitor usually explains his act by the interests of the cause, but in order to justify the first betrayal, he commits the second, third, and so on ad infinitum.

Betrayal accurately destroys the dignity of a person, as a result, traitors behave differently. Someone defends his behavior, trying to justify his deed, someone falls into a feeling of guilt and fear of impending retribution, and someone just tries to forget everything, without burdening himself with either emotions or thoughts. In any case, the life of a traitor becomes empty, worthless and meaningless.(According to M. Litvak)

(14) And after the lesson, at which Golubkin received another deuce, this big man pushed the short Vanya: he, it turns out, did not prompt clearly and clearly enough.

(32) At a big break, the director and I, in an empty classroom, began to make our way to Golubkin's conscience. (33) It was then, in the midst of our conversation, that Vanya Belov appeared and said:

- (34) I have come to give myself into the hands of justice!

(35) I did not believe that he pulled out the dictations, but the director agreed

COMPOSITION

Epithets are mostly adjectives that give the word color, expressiveness. Epithets help to more accurately characterize a person, object or phenomenon, to create a more vivid image. Let's consider how true this statement is, using examples taken from the text of E. Shim.

So, in sentence 5, describing a girl, the author uses the following epithets: “mysterious” (creature), “incredible” (beauty), with “golden” (eyes), with “thin” (waist). Thanks to these adjectives, the reader has the opportunity to easily imagine the image of the beautiful Vera.

And in sentence 75, speaking of Gaucher, the writer uses other epithets: "quiet, shy and fearful." So E. Shim highlights the main features in the character of his hero.

Thus, it is no coincidence that the Russian writer E. Shim called epithets "the clothes of words." (101 words)

COMPOSITION

Gosha realizes that Verochka forced him to commit a dishonorable act. But sympathy for the girl and the desire to please her turned out to be more important for him. Verochka, apparently, does not care at all about the moral side of Gosha's actions, her own desires are more important for her. This can be confirmed by examples from the read text.

From the content of the text, we understand that Gosha was under the spell of Verochka. He is ready to fulfill her every whim, no matter how absurd it may be: to give the jacket and stay in the same T-shirt (sentence 10), stand on his head (sentence 26), take out his mother's perfume (sentence 41). For the sake of Vera's attention, the boy completely obeys her and endure all humiliation(propositions 28-29).

Verochka likes to feel her own superiority over the quiet and shy Gosha. She understands why the boy allows himself to be commanded. But Gosha's feelings are not interesting to her, she just wants to satisfy her own vanity, not thinking about the consequences that her crazy desires can lead to (sentences 58, 75).

Thus, in the end, such behavior of the heroes leads to an accident. (158 words)

COMPOSITION

A moral choice is a decision consciously made by a person, it is the answer to the question “What to do?”:surrender or be yourself, deceive or tell the truth, help or throw in trouble. Making a moral choice, a person is guided by conscience, life values. By what a person chooses, one can judge his moral character. I will prove the validity of my words with concrete examples.

Let us turn to the text of E.Yu.Shim. The hero of the text Gosh is at first glance a weak-willed, shy and timid boy. But in a critical situation, he, without hesitation, makes his choice and accomplishes a real feat: he falls flat on his stomach on a burning rocket in order to save the girl he likes. The heroic deed of the boy suggests that he is a real man, ready to save the life of another person at the cost of his own life.

The hero of the story also made his moral choiceIrina Kuramshina"Dragonfly Jumper". When Max learned that his mother had a bad kidney and she urgently needed an operation, he made a conscious decision to become a donor for her. This choice indicates that, despite all the disagreements and quarrels, the son loves his mother and wants only the best for her.

Thus, making a moral choice, a person shows his true face to others. (174 words)

15.1 The Russian language is one of the richest and most beautiful languages in the world. There are enough words in it to name all objects and phenomena, to convey a wide variety of feelings, moods, experiences. In addition, in our language, as, perhaps, in no other, there is a large arsenal of special expressive means, one of which is the epithet. V. A. Soloukhin called the epithet “clothes of words”. Let's try to understand the legitimacy of this statement using examples from the text of Eduard Shim.
Indicative for observing what the author uses epithets for is sentence 5 (A mysterious creature of thirteen years old, an incredible beauty with a smile from ear to ear, with golden eyes, with a thin waist). In the sentence, epithets: a mysterious creature, golden eyes and others - help us to imagine the image of a girl. There is an association with something bright, good.
So the author indirectly expresses his attitude towards the heroine, emphasizing her attractiveness. In sentence 75 (Gosha, numb with horror, Gosha, pressed against the wall with a contorted face, quiet, shy and timid Gosha suddenly pushes Verochka away and - flat on his stomach - falls on a rocket) epithets are used by the author to describe another hero - Gosha.
Thus, the examples given can rightfully be considered arguments in support of Soloukhin's opinion: "Epithets are the clothes of words."

15.2 In his text, E. Yu. Shim raises, among other things, the important problem of responsibility for moral choice. In the above fragment, the author talks about Gosha's attitude to his own act. Gosha succumbed to Verochka's "whim" and took out a bottle of perfume, now he is angry with both Verochka and himself for having succumbed to weakness, and did not defend his position.
Vera managed to subjugate Gosha, now she does everything she sees fit with him. The fact that the girl is in command in this pair is said by sentence number 27: “Verochka is watching him severely, like a coach.” The coach's word is law. The problem is that the word is not always correct and can lead to trouble.
It is gratifying that Gosha, at a dangerous moment, nevertheless managed to make his own decision: “Gosha, numb with horror Gosh, clinging to the wall with a twisted face, quiet, shy and timid Gosha suddenly pushes Verochka away and - flat on his stomach - falls on a rocket. Here is an example of a real character, based on the boy's own choice.
Our choice, no matter how difficult it may be, we must make according to our conscience. At the same time, it should be remembered that for every act you will have to answer to yourself and others, and not only our life, but also the life of those who are close to us depends on what this choice will be.

15.3 Every person, in one way or another, has an idea about such feelings as shame, pity, empathy. These purely human feelings, moral concepts, the presence of which actually distinguishes a person from an animal, have meaning and exist only in a society of their own kind, in human society. These moral concepts are actually the soul of man.
In his text, E. Yu. Shim raises, among other things, the important problem of responsibility for moral choice. Vera managed to subjugate Gosha, now she does everything she sees fit with him.
The life position of many people today is an example to follow. The name of the children's doctor of the world, Leonid Roshal, can often be found in news reports. Terror attacks, earthquakes, disasters - Roshal always tries to go where children need help.
As long as a person is alive, he will be in constant struggle.
What to do: make a deal with conscience or commit an act worthy of a real person? Our choice, no matter how difficult it may be, we must make according to our conscience. At the same time, it should be remembered that for every act you will have to answer to yourself and others, and not only our life, but also the life of those who are close to us depends on what this choice will be.

(33) Wiping his palms on his T-shirt, Gosha tramples helplessly, blinks, but Verochka is relentless. (34) And then, giving her the transistor, Gosha trudges to his apartment.

(35) Hasty steps on the stairs, voices: Seryozhka and Pavlik, Gosha's classmates, run out into the yard, with fishing rods and with some kind of cardboard, but formidable-looking pipe.

(36) This is a rocket, - Seryozhka reports impressively. - (37) Let's launch in the forest.

(38) Vera condescendingly watches how the boys are fiddling with the rocket, how they carefully put it on the steps of the entrance, and they themselves go for backpacks.

(53) So, I understand ... (54) Do you have matches?

(55) Matches? .. (56) Well, in a jacket ... look in your pocket.

(57) Yeah. (58) Now set that tail on fire! - (59) Vera points to the rocket left by the boys.

(60) Why? .. - Gosha mutters without thinking anything. - (61) What is it?

(62) Bomb. (63) Let it bang.

(64) Well! .. - Gosha mumbles in confusion. - (65) This is...

(66) Who is in charge?

(67) Verka, stop it!

(68) Oh, right? - (69) Vera strikes a match and brings a light to the rocket tail. (70) Finally, something hissed, screeched like butter in a frying pan ...

(71) Verka!

(According to E. (1) This torment began in distant years, in the fifth or sixth grade.

(2) Glebov lived in his two-story courtyard next to a gray, huge, like a whole city or even whole country, a house with a thousand windows. (3) A gray bulk hung over the alley, in the mornings it covered the sun, and in the evenings the sounds of music flew from above. (4) There, in the heavenly floors, it seemed that a completely different life was going on than below. (5) And Glebov from childhood had a burning sensation in his soul: either envy, or something else.

(6) Glebov's mother worked as a usher in a cinema. (7) And now her service in the cinema - rundown, in one of the Zamoskvoretsky lanes - was a matter of considerable pride for Glebov and distinguished him by the greatest privilege: he could go to any film without a ticket. (8) And sometimes in the daytime, when there are few spectators, he could even see a friend, or even two.

(9) This privilege was the basis of Glebov's power in the class. (10) He used it prudently and wisely: he invited boys whose friendship he was interested in, from whom he expected something in return, others he fed with promises for a long time before he did good deeds, and some scoundrels forever deprived of his mercy. (11) Glebov's power continued - well, not power, but, say, authority - and remained unshaken until Levka Shulepa arose. (12) The first days he held himself haughtily, looked with his blue eyes at everyone sleepily and contemptuously, did not start a conversation with anyone and sat down at the same desk with the girl. (13) They decided to teach him a lesson, or rather, humiliate him. (14) And even more precisely - to disgrace. (15) Glebov ardently persuaded to deal with Shulepa, whom he did not like, but at the last moment decided not to participate in the massacre.

(16) The boys - there were five of them - called Lyovka after school to the backyard, surrounded him, arguing about something, and suddenly the Bear, the main strongman of the class, grabbed Lyovka by the neck, knocked him over with a jerk, the rest shouted "wow - go!" they attacked, Lyovka resisted, kicked him, but, of course, they crushed him, twisted him, someone sat on his chest. (17) And suddenly there was a loud crack, as if a firecracker had exploded or a car tire had burst. (18) Then all five rushed to the sides, Lyovka got to his feet, and in his hand he held a pug that fired special caps. (19) Shulepa emerged victorious from this story, and the attackers were put to shame and subsequently tried their best to make peace and make friends with him.

(20) So Lyovka from a man who was going to be disgraced all over the world turned into a hero. (21) And from this, probably, that time was born in Glebov that heaviness at the bottom of the soul ... (22) And there are no more unfortunate people struck by envy. (23) And there was no more devastating misfortune than what happened to Glebov at the moment of his seemingly supreme triumph.

* Trifonov Yuri Valentinovich (1925-1981) - Russian Soviet writer, master of "urban" prose.
