How to get 100 points in Literature. Come up with your own clichés for writing essays. The creative component of the exam. A new way to open up

A year and a half ago, I decided that I would take the exam in literature. Six months ago, I finally realized that creating, parsing and analyzing texts is what I am really interested in, and most importantly, I am good at it. All this year I did not sit for benefits, did not go to tutors, did not delve into the intricacies of the historical and literary process. I just read books, wrote articles, notes, participated in various literary and journalistic competitions and olympiads. In a word, I did what was interesting to me and made it possible to express on paper my understanding of the world and everything that happens in it. Yes, I solved tests, reread works from the codifier, wrote essays, but I did all this not systematically, but on a whim.

Everything changed at the moment when I became the winner of the Literature Olympiad from the list of those that are taken into account for admission. From the very beginning I knew that the exam in literature is one of the most difficult exams. The most subjective. The most stingy on points. I bought a thick manual for preparing for the exam and at first I was afraid to even open it, because all my friends, who also handed over literature, were already in full swing with tutors and attended various courses. And I just always knew that I understood the subject and kept procrastinating with intensive preparation. It gave me motivation to get started. When you set clear goals for yourself, the path to them becomes clear. And I had one - to do literature every day for 4 months. No tutors prepared me for the exam.

I started solving tests of 15-20 options every day. Very soon I realized that I would not need half of the thick reference book I bought. This half dealt with literary-theoretical concepts and the literary-historical process. It turned out that the preparation for the Olympiads, participation in competitions made me savvy in these matters. This served as an excellent impetus for my further vigorous activity. I took writing seriously. I studied the assessment criteria and made it a rule to write three every day, continuing to solve dozens of tests. A couple of times a week I took my work to my literature teacher, we sorted it out, analyzed the mistakes. Lyrics remained the main problem for me a month before the exam. For some reason, I always thought that I did not understand poetry and was not capable of understanding it. For analysis at the Olympiads, I always chose prose works. But as soon as I forced myself to sit down at a collection of poems by the first poet in the codifier, I realized that not everything was so bad. My understanding of the poems in most cases coincided with their analyzes in manuals. Gradually, by May 25, I repeated the work of all the poets whose works can be found on the exam.

I understood that I was objectively ready for any topic. I was not afraid that some unknown author or poem would come across to me. I was determined to analyze any text. At the same time, I was not at all sure that I would get high scores. The ultimate dream was still the cherished 74 points. All year I went to groups on VKontakte to prepare for the exam in literature, I saw the works of other guys, their ambitions and confidence in getting high scores. Against the background of all this, I felt like mediocrity, a strong middle peasant, and in the depths of my soul I hoped for my 74 points.

The first thing I said when I left the exam in literature was: “I have never written anything worse in my life.” It so happened that the last essay, the most "expensive" in terms of points, I wrote directly to the clean copy. I didn't have enough time and there was no other choice. For him, I dreamed of getting 10/14 points at best.

I was absolutely calm for nine days. On the tenth, June 3rd, I began to shake, I constantly updated the page where my result was supposed to appear, but it was not there. At night, one nightmare, where I get 69 points, replaced another, where I get 58. On May 4, I went to the Unified State Examination in mathematics, not getting enough sleep, twitchy and nervous. Before going to the PES, I refreshed the results page again, but the literature scores did not appear there. Needless to say, for 4 hours in mathematics, my head was not at all occupied with sines and cosines. After the exam, I went home, and then the bell rang ... “You have 100 points in literature,” I heard and did not believe, because this does not happen. It just couldn't be that I was one of 200 people who wrote excellently in the most subjective and stingy exam, but it was so.

I have updated the results page. In the graph test scorethree-digit number. I updated this page regularly throughout the day. And today I will update before going to bed, because it is still difficult for me to get used to this thought. All my friends tell me that I deserve this result, they are happy for me. I am also happy, of course, but I know for sure that I could get 70, and 60, and 80 points. I could get any score. And I am terribly sad and insulting to read the stories of those who prepared for a year, two, three, but received not 100 points. There are many who, in my opinion, deserve it more than me.

On the one hand, the Unified State Examination is a lottery, on the other hand, those who are lucky are lucky. You can talk for a long time and a lot about the fact that the USE is not an indicator of knowledge. But the most important advice that I would give to those who plan to take literature in the future is to prepare, prepare and prepare again. Not for the sake of high scores, not for the sake of justifying someone's hopes, but for the sake of their dreams. Enjoy what you do, get high by creating original text and put your soul into every written word.

Very soon, 2018 graduates will start their first exams: computer science, ICT and geography. We want to help 11th grade students, so we conducted a survey among those who at one time successfully passed the Unified State Examination with 100 points and have already become students who entered key universities in Russia on a budget. Everyone participating in the survey talked about how they managed to achieve such success and, most importantly, whether there is still a chance to cheat on the exam.

Dmitry Kiselev (on the exam: mathematics and physics - 100 points each)

“I passed all the exams myself, without involving tutors to prepare or use cheat sheets. The fact is that the exam, in mathematics or physics, is not initially difficult, since they present tasks in which you just need to familiarize yourself with the condition, not make mistakes in the formula, and carefully arrange the work. And, for example, in Russian, I couldn’t get 100 points. All because of the loss of several primary points in part C, which refers to "the logic and coherence of the text." In this case, much depends on the inspector.

Are you interested in whether it is still possible to write off the exam? To be honest, I have not tried it myself, but some say that it is not difficult to do this. I don't know how true this is, but there's probably some chance. I am now moonlighting as a tutor, preparing schoolchildren for the Unified State Examination, and so one of my students decided that 60 points was enough for her in these subjects and stopped preparing, planning to write off. In principle, there are plenty of ways to outwit the system.

Once, acquaintances told a story: one dad, a well-known businessman, one might say the authority of the district, came to the director of his daughter's school before the exams, and left a tidy sum there with the words: “My daughter will write something, and add the rest of the correct answers yourself.” “. Everything went well for the school. The girl wrote that she knew, but they could not add anything to her. The money was returned to the father without any consequences and the implementation of threats on his part.

On English language- its subtleties. Our teachers, who watch the handover, say that the sound quality of the dictated text is disgusting, either because of the microphones, or because of something else. Therefore, the task can get so poorly written down that some words, or even a good half, are simply impossible to make out. It’s good that I didn’t need this subject for admission, so I, breathing a sigh of relief, did not take it.

A few years ago there was an unpleasant situation - everyone was completely filled up on one task. For what? Yeah just to lower total number 100 points across the country. Of course, no one could prove anything to anyone.”

Daria Titova (USE in Literature: 100 points)

“There were only six months left before the exams, and I suddenly decided to take literature. One of the reasons, to be honest, was the fact that no one else in our school was going to take it. Of course, I wanted exclusivity, but apparently, the main reason, nevertheless, was a strong desire to devote myself to journalism. I must say, this surprised my medical family very much.

Having given vent to an irresistible desire to conquer literature as much as possible, I began to cram primary sources and re-read the mountain of criticism.

I was lucky that I found a tutor in time. She taught at the university and once herself was directly involved in the creation of tests in literature. It was then that my real preparation began, because she was able to direct me in the right direction, knowing the main pitfalls: how assessment works, what must be written in an essay, and what is not worth it. She helped to systematize all my knowledge on the subject, and get rid of unnecessary and distracting things. Only plans remained, according to which it is necessary to analyze the work and the final answers - without unnecessary elements. But luck was on my side: the ticket contained works that I knew very well.

I didn’t want to write off and didn’t want to try - it’s very distracting, besides, literature was my first exam, I had enough stress from all the severity of the situation.

Returning to the passing process, I think that passing absolutely all subjects with the highest scores is simply unrealistic. The system itself is designed to test not only knowledge, it most likely needs some kind of mechanical approach. Ideally, you need to at least a little decide in which direction to study further, then choose suitable subjects for delivery and purposefully prepare for them. In general, even 5–6 ideal 100-point results do not guarantee happy life further".

Alexey Kubarev (USE in mathematics: 100 points)

“I think that I got such a result thanks to personal abilities, and a little more genes. My parents graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics Department of Moscow State University and I never had problems with mathematics, even while studying at one of the best Moscow physics and mathematics schools. Preparation for the exam I had only at school. The teacher who gave the tasks of the previous year to take home was very helpful, and the test exams also brought excellent experience.

It's simple - came and wrote - no tutors. The difficulty of the assignments did not worry me much, I was only nervous because of the limited time, since I write slowly. Therefore, at the exam itself, first of all, I quickly evaluated the way to solve the problem and wrote it right away in a clean copy. I didn’t waste time on a draft, at most I did some calculations there.

Of course, I understand that no ability guarantees a 100-point result, but getting above 90 is a very real possibility. In my case, at least a little luck with two tasks from part C was important to me, the rest did not bother me.

For those who are just about to pass, I would advise: first of all, try to cope with the excitement not only at the exam itself, but also before it. It was easier for me in this regard - I have many years of stage experience. The night before the exam is especially important - you need to get a good night's sleep, and not catch up.

I’ll say this about cheating: I haven’t personally encountered this, but among my friends from other schools I heard that it’s quite possible to do this. As an option, they said that you can carry cheat sheets, fixing them to your clothes with small pins, the size of which deceives the metal detector and it does not react to them.

The cheating option is completely unsuitable for those who want 100 points: in this case, there is no time for these covert operations, here the tasks need to be solved, and not stirred up with cheat sheets.

I believe that it is quite realistic to get 100 points in all the exams, but it is quite difficult. The main factors are primarily:

  • Good luck - without it in this business in any way. It's one thing when you're lucky on one subject, but when, for example, on three, it's already more noticeable.
  • The human factor - if your work with the inspector is already one of the last, he is tired enough, and you, moreover, may have bad handwriting. As a result, a negative impression is created, and the chance of getting 100 is drastically reduced. In physics or mathematics, this factor does not affect as much as in literature or Russian - here you can easily lose points at some point. And then you can’t prove that you wrote this paragraph for the maximum score.

The most important thing is to try to worry, have a good rest at night, and most importantly, do not drive yourself crazy after you write, for possible mistakes or something done.

Ekaterina Kartseva (USE in history: 100 points)

“Before I decided to take the story, I didn’t do it at all, and I didn’t really know. Therefore, I prepared for it, it can be considered, in a year, but at the same time I had to actually sacrifice the rest of the classes in the 11th grade. Since I was in good standing at school, they went to meet me. Several days a week from eleven to eight in the evening, I practically lived with a tutor. Seeing my unprecedented zeal, surprisingly, even little money was taken from me. It is clear that I fell out of social life this year, as she practically did not leave the house.

It is quite possible to master the preparation for the exam for short term, you just have to prioritize and sacrifice not only time, but also other items that are not essential for admission, and also forget about hanging out with friends. Systematic training is also very important.

My preparation looked like this:

  • daily outlined the textbook from MGIMO;
  • studied the received abstract;
  • solved at least 10 tests;
  • I watched thematic publics in VK and with their help sorted out all possible errors. To do this, I started a separate notebook, which I re-read before going to bed;
  • also in the evenings she asked her mother to check her knowledge of dates, on average at least 25 dates.

Already closer to the exam itself, I finished with textbooks and devoted time to solving a collection of tasks from part C. It is clear that all this took me almost the whole day.

I believe that it is possible to score 100 points in several subjects at once, but for this you need not to postpone until the last, but to regularly perform educational standard. Then in the 11th grade, all that remains is to practice on the tests, and luck is also important. But these conditions are practically impossible to fulfill in practice, since not only all teachers must be strong subjects, but the student himself must have stable motivation throughout the entire high school.

I had to sacrifice math for the key subjects that are important for admission, so I scored only 49 points there. But in Russian, many can easily get the highest score - this is an easy subject. At our school, it was easy to write off: people carried phones and I also had cheat sheets with me.

Anna Landau (USE in Russian: 100 points)

“I started studying with a tutor immediately after the 9th grade, but I think I was lucky on the exam itself. I came across an intelligible text with a clear problem, to which I easily picked up arguments. I think that passing the exam in Russian for 100 points is real, you only need:

  • memorize a clear set of rules;
  • practice problem solving;
  • pre-select a certain number of justifications on different topics;
  • write at least a few dozen essays to practice.

I believe that it is impossible to write off, because there is a fairly strict supervision and control at the entrance.

In general, in order to pass the exam with 100 points, you need mostly luck, not knowledge. It’s just that I personally know cases when those who wrote samples for 60 got more than 90 on the exam, but it also happened the other way around. So without luck and a suitable option - nowhere.

Natalya Kirasheva (USE in Russian language and geography: 100 points)

“I don’t even know how it happened that I passed the USE in two subjects: Russian and geography, with 100 points. Honestly, I didn't even expect it. Of course, I, like everyone else, aspired to a high result, but did not set myself such a goal. I had enough of the usual schoolwork and self-study- no tutors. Even free time remained - for dancing and friends. And my results are the merit of our wonderful teachers. They never scared us of the exam, they didn’t say that our whole life depends on its results, they just calmly taught lessons, giving the necessary knowledge.

I don’t remember being very worried, but about whether there was an opportunity to write off, I’ll say: if you wish, you can always, but is it worth it to worry and be afraid that you will be caught? Wouldn't it be better to calmly prepare and be confident in your knowledge.

To be honest, I had cheat sheets for almost all exams, but I didn’t even think of using them, it’s more for psychological confidence.

You can also pass the exam in Russian or mathematics with 100 points, but there are no such people among my friends.

Olga Zinchenko (USE in Russian language and social studies: 100 points)

“I studied with tutors in each of the subjects chosen for the Unified State Examination once a week, but in social science and history I attended additional group preparatory courses at the Siberian federal university and HSE. And although my gymnasium also has quite strong teachers, I wanted the training to be multifaceted. Despite additional training in history, I still decided not to take it, as I became a winner All-Russian Olympiad in English, and this was enough for the universities in which I planned to enter. Although, according to the teacher, I would have easily passed the story to the highest score, but why should I need extra excitement.

The recipe for my success? I was able to achieve this result only through hard work. Every week I took 3-4 tests (for each of my subjects, with obligatory attention to part C), and for history I used audio books that I turned on while I went to courses or to tutors. I think that without tutors who know the subtleties USE assessment quite difficult to prepare. Even if you are absolutely literate, but did not write an essay according to a certain template, you can get points lower than expected.

I didn’t cheat on the exam in principle, but I personally saw how many people used phones. They took photos of assignments and sent them to tutors or someone else, and they, in turn, sent them answers. Now, probably, they have also provided for such an option and put telephone jammers. Although who knows? They scared us too."

IMHO, the math is about the same. I would say from 75 (in previous years, I have not yet looked at the ratio of "solved problems - USE scores"). 100 points is very good knowledge + a little luck + psychological stability.

Added after 6 minutes 27 seconds:

There is a free tutor - internet, books, etc. But ... you have to plow, plow yourself without reminders and control. And another question: in what years is a person from an ordinary high school, who did not make any efforts on his own, did he enter Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, etc.? Why did the VZMSH exist and exist? Why were FMS created?

Added after 7 minutes 34 seconds:

IMHO, and direct the child to the appropriate place ...

For some reason, I remembered an older colleague. His "homeland" is Pervomayka, with a "ceiling" - NIIZhT. So he got there safely. In mathematics, I asked a lot of questions to the teacher. To which he said: "Young man, you should go to NSU with such questions!" Where he went and successfully graduated.
well, we can make an assessment of graduates, and for recent years 10 has statistics. AND? What will happen there fundamentally. if the teachers give up?

The "subject" is taught in schools in different volumes, someone has 10 hours of mathematics a week, someone has three. What in this context "to know the subject"?
Once upon a time, assignments were offered at the entrance exams at NSU. which "do not go beyond the scope of the school curriculum. But require the creative application of the knowledge gained at school." The USE, in the specification, declares that for 100 points, knowledge is needed that goes beyond the scope of the general education class program.
in general, for a long time there was an intention during the certification of teachers to force them to take the exam in the subject. Maybe we're arguing here, but the teachers are already failing?

That is, I am not against the fact that teachers of their own free will go to take the exam. But I don't know what fundamentally new thing will come from such a surrender. Teachers at any time have the opportunity to take an option and decide. And see what makes them personally difficult. And are there children who need to be taught what the teacher himself cannot and cannot do? And if there is, then how to be here. Generally speaking, this is how teachers work. Yusha
You shouldn't rate our teachers so low. What then did the children "forget" in such schools, in your opinion?
I am much more optimistic than you and I think that most teachers will pass the exam very decently, many of them by 90-100 points. Not all, probably. So there is no need to set requirements for everyone to pass 100. You just need to go and pass. How much will it work.
No one will judge us now. We do NOT know how teachers would write. But if they knew, they could make an assessment of the USE itself and the school system.
In particular, find an understanding of such things:
"This is an exam that you can definitely pass 100 if you know the subject."
Or
"This is an exam that you can definitely pass at 70 if you know the subject. And 100 is for geniuses."

And there will be an understanding of such a question:
"This is an exam that you can pass 90-100 without a tutor"
Or
"It's an exam that you can't pass 90-100 without a tutor."

Now in society there is a strange attitude towards the exam, a lot of myths, a lot of reproaches. Perhaps they are correct, perhaps they are not.
It seems to me that if all teachers passed this exam, then there would be fewer myths, and moreover, there would be changes in the exam itself, all the jambs that exist in it would be revealed by teachers.
And teachers are now very scary for the children of the Unified State Examination. Because for them it is unknown. And if you went through it yourself - and there would be less fear!

Problem 19 is an Olympiad problem. The 17th is also very often not a weak task.

IMHO, the level of 90-100 points is the level of preparation and an indicator of the ability to study in best universities countries. Explain to me: where will such a number of such teachers come from in the country's schools. What did they forget with such a level there?

Added after 48 seconds:

For what? Some children require face-to-face contact. Sometimes one tiny detail is missing. 21OKSI
Well, for this, there used to be a system of Olympiads and a physical and mathematical school. And now oops. In the same way, smart children are trained for the Olympiads in good schools. So that the 19th task is solved.
But this is either at the state level, the issue must be resolved, with a choice. or at the individual level. parents are looking for an opportunity for their own child.

In general, the Internet greatly simplifies the matter. One can quite find an analysis of the solutions of 18 and 19 problems. sono.io
IMHO - because "no".
Because it doesn't matter if it's a humanities class or not, but the student should be able to get advice from his teacher in full. There is no need to divide children into classes, as if the choice of a class really says something important. In some gymnasiums-lyceums, the competition for the physics and mathematics class is off scale, and children with an above-average level of training enter the humanitarian (chemical-biological, philological, historical, economic, etc.) classes.

And no one says that the teacher is obliged to stretch each student. The teacher should pull himself out for a decent score in the exam. Otherwise, no matter how talented a teacher he is, he needs a student high score do not prepare - because he does not know the answer.

21OKSI
At the school of the eldest son, the teacher very much analyzed task 18 with them - in detail and for a long time. And many guys successfully solved it. About 19 - I don't know what it is. And about 18 - I remember, because they discussed a lot.
It's still big question about the right to choose. Our city is somewhat smaller than Novosibirsk - 6 schools and a gymnasium. None of the schools, not one of the teachers, even in specialized mathematical groups, analyzed tasks 18 and 19 with children. Parents were engaged with someone (I know one such, I was lucky), but someone had no choice at all. Although we don’t need specialized mathematics, in which case the choice is only to move. It's scary to think about the villages regarding this situation.

I would say. that every student has the right to choose a teacher who can prepare him for high level. But whether to use this right is up to the student. There are a huge number of children. who do not need this high level at all. Then only to the detriment of the student is the forced dragging of his super-duper teacher to high USE scores. Passed the base - showed knowledge of mathematics at the cultural level. Need math as a basis further development- You need a higher level teacher.

yes, let him work in some 11th humanitarian school, why not? sono.io
We do not ask if the child wants to go to the Bauman school or to the local university. He goes and solves everything USE assignments and get your score. So the teacher must go and decide. And get your score. What's so difficult?

Concerning the fact that not all teachers prepare for a high exam level.... This is a difficult question. We seem to have equal rights to education. This means that EVERY student has the right to a teacher who CAN prepare him for a high level exam. I don't think it's supposed to be 100 points. But still, a teacher should be able to get a sufficiently high score. If the teacher is not ready for this, IMHO, he should not work in the 11th grade. In any other, but not at 11.
Why? Teachers are different, not all work in deep learning. There are excellent school teachers who cook a basic level of. That is, for the profile exam, but within the framework of the general education program. Why demand from them full version Unified State Examination, designed for admission to the best specialized universities in the country?

What do you mean by "solve the exam"? Decide on the minimum that allows you to get a certificate? decide on the level of enrollment in a local university? is it necessary to decide on the level, for example, of Moscow State University or Baumanka?

And one more thing: to be able to do something yourself and the ability to explain to another .... somewhat different things ... It's strange if it's difficult for an amplifier to solve the exam. Then what will he teach the children? It is a pity that only one teacher in Russia made such a decision. I am sure that all teachers working with 11th graders must take the exam in their discipline every year together with their students. And this is not a test of the teacher's knowledge, this is a test of the USE procedure - this is how you should treat it!
Well, the exam should not be difficult for a teacher!
Why is this an act of a teacher "certainly deserves respect", but for students this is an ordinary event?
If all teachers in Russia passed the USE, I am sure that this would be the reason for some adjustments both in the USE itself and in the curriculum. The teacher of the Krasnoyarsk gymnasium Oksana Fan-Di, together with her students, passed the exam in literature. The teacher notes that the purpose of such an unusual experiment was not only to test their own knowledge.

Required for . This, no doubt, will require an amount of time and effort, however, in this case, you can reasonably count on a large number.

Outline large works. Summary, written in your own hand, will make it easier for you to review the material just before the exam. After reading it, you will refresh your memory of the main points of the work. Do not overload your abstract with unnecessary details, excessive descriptions of nature and insignificant dialogues. However, describe in more detail the characters of the characters and the ups and downs of life that have become the central plot of the work. Outline the material in blocks - for example, classify works by genre. Before USE look at the summary, focusing on them - this way it will be much easier to write answers to questions.

Be interested in related sciences - history, philosophy, cultural studies,. This will give you the opportunity to develop humanitarian thinking and freely navigate historical novels, philosophical problems works and norms of law and morality. Writing USE By literature involves the ability to explain one's thoughts not only within this subject, but also based on, the concepts of legal culture and principles.

Preparation for delivery USE By literature It also includes practice tests. You will be able to familiarize yourself with an approximate list of questions and think over possible answers in advance. On a full-fledged exam, you will feel more comfortable, freely navigate the tasks. Examination paper divided into three parts. The first part involves the completion of 20 tasks, their meaning is to choose one correct answer from four possible options. Answers to the second block of questions involve expressing one's own opinion in the format of short answers to the questions posed. The third part is a detailed answer to the question posed in this or that work.

The Literature exam is one of the most difficult exams, as you will be faced with a lot of written tasks while completing it. To write essays on topics suggested by the examiners, as well as complete several test items you need to prepare carefully. You will have to read a lot and study various literary terms. Therefore, before starting studies, you need to prepare yourself for the fact that you will have to pay a lot of attention to this subject, and also prepare yourself for the upcoming exam.

1. Attend school literature classes and extracurricular activities.

A literature teacher should be your assistant in the process of preparing for the exam. Tell him in advance that you have decided to take an exam in his subject and ask for help if necessary. If your teacher is friendly, you can also ask him for extra classes where he will give you some tips on how to complete the assignments. Do not be afraid to ask for help and be interested in new materials.

As a rule, such a list is contained in a document called "Codifier". You can find it on the FIPI website. The codifier provides a list of literature that examiners recommend you read to prepare for the Literature exam. It will contain works of Russian literature, classics and poetry. But don't limit yourself to these works. You can also read those books that appeal to you. They can also be useful to you when writing essays.

3. Remember the heroes of the book, the main events.

In the exam, there is a task for knowing the characters of various works. To prepare for it, you need to keep a notebook where you will write out the characters and the events with which they are associated. Do not make too extensive notes. Minimize information and make it easier to remember.

4. Come up with your own clichés for writing essays.

When writing essays, you will need to use clichés. For example, when creating transitions from one part to another, it is recommended to use different connecting phrases. There are a great many such phrases on the Internet that are found in the works of millions of schoolchildren and do not give them much originality. In order to diversify your written work, develop yourself a few phrases that you will use on the exam.

5. Expand your vocabulary.

Examiners in the course of checking essays take into account not only the observance of various criteria for writing it, but also linguistic skills, the level of proficiency in speech interesting facts. In order to account for this important factor, you need to work with a dictionary. Memorize new words and their definitions. They will definitely come in handy for your exams.

Is it possible to independently prepare for the exam in literature? And what difficulties await the applicant along the way? What mistakes do high school students who prepare for the exam in literature on their own make?

Here is what you need to pass the exam in literature:

Deep knowledge of texts
Excellent knowledge of the requirements of the exam in literature,
Analytic mind.

As a rule, all this is not enough for high school students in the humanities.

The Unified State Examination in Literature is taken mainly by those who consider themselves creative people. And most often they do not even understand what is required of them in the exam. “I love literature,” they say, and think that's enough. And as a result, they do poorly on the exam in literature!
It’s not enough just to write a “beautiful” essay. After all, essays are checked at the Unified State Examination in literature according to the criteria, as well as at all Unified State Examinations. Moreover, in the version of the exam in literature (unlike mathematics) there are no direct and only correct answers to the question.

Those who prepare for the exam in literature on their own do not understand the specifics of this exam well. What does it consist of?

At school we study literature as an art. We are accustomed to the fact that literature educates morality. And that is why graduates write in essays: “I liked it” or “I don’t agree with the author.” They write about their worldview, about their impressions. But for passing the exam Literature doesn't need it! USE requirements Literature is generally different.

You need an excellent knowledge of theory, terminology, you need the ability to analyze the text. It is required to show how developed your analytical skills, which can be called “subject competence”.

What mistakes do those who prepare for the exam in literature on their own make on the exam?

When you pass the exam in literature, you don’t need to be “creative”.
No need to write messages in verse addressed to the USE experts.
If the task says that the answer should be a text of five to ten sentences, then you need five to ten, not twenty!
Do not ignore the exam criteria.

High school students are accustomed to formal school requirements. They are accustomed to the fact that the text should have an introduction and a conclusion, and therefore they write meaningless phrases on the exam, for example: “And this is exactly what ...”, or “This is a very important topic ...”. One high school student even wrote on the exam: “Thank you! I am grateful to the playwright Ostrovsky for giving me the opportunity to read this text.” Well, what is it? The Unified State Examination in Literature is a specific analytics, not your thanks to the playwright Ostrovsky!

The USE in Literature is primarily a format and technology. There are no less of them than in the exam in mathematics. It is difficult for the quivering and subtle "humanities" who pass the Unified State Examination in literature to understand what is in demand here. analytical thinking and a clear knowledge of the exam format.

If you are preparing for the Unified State Examination in Literature on your own, it is not enough to read “One Hundred Golden Essays” and write “something beautiful”. For this, you can get no more than 50 points on the exam in literature.

When preparing for the exam in literature on your own, you should first of all study exam format and criteria.

The order of your actions is as follows:

Go to the FIPI website.
Download the latest demonstration USE literature and study it.
The demo version consists of three documents: demo version (CMM - control and measuring materials), Codifier and Specification.
3. Main element demo version- this is an instruction for the performance of work and criteria for verification and evaluation. It is these criteria that the experts will be guided by.

Yes, the humanities are not interested in understanding this. But you have to force yourself to understand.

4. Pay attention to what is highlighted in the black boxes in the KIM. It clearly states what needs to be done.

5. Study the demo version of the exam from cover to cover.

6. Answering questions version of the exam, analyze your answers in the literature according to the following criteria:
- Is there a phrase that gives a direct answer to the question?
Is there text support?
Is there any confirmation of the quote.
Is there a connection with the position of the author?
Did I write some nonsense that I myself am not sure of?

Do not confuse the USE in literature with the USE in the Russian language, as most high school students do. The Unified State Examination in Russian is journalism, this is your attitude to something. The USE in Literature is a text analysis. You need to be able to see the text from the point of view of meaning, from the point of view of literary devices, literary theory.

For example, you received a text - Mitrofanushka's exam from Fonvizin's comedy "Undergrowth". Question - what is the comedy of this exam?

To answer the question, you need to know what "comic" is from the point of view of literary theory. Comedy is not from the “Oh, how funny” series. You need to know that, from the point of view of literary theory, comedy is always based on inconsistencies.

In fact, the question is formulated as follows: what inconsistencies does the author rely on to create a funny situation?

Mitrofan is asked about high things, and he answers, although he is not stupid, at a mundane level, he perceives everything at the level of everyday life. They ask him about history, and he says: “Sometimes you get into such a story, wow!” What, he answered wrong? Absolutely true from his own worldly point of view!

There is nothing sublime in his head at all, and he does not even understand what he is being asked about. And if we don't know theoretical basis- then we ourselves will be like Mitrofanushka, who answers the questions of the exam in a mundane, at the “everyday” level.

Let's make a conclusion.

Only a very thoughtful student with an analytical mindset can independently prepare for the exam in literature.

And this is rare, especially among the humanities. Most often, the humanities are at odds with logic. And they never read the instructions, and even more so, what is specially highlighted in the framework.

If you decide to prepare for the exam in literature on your own, you have three options.
Or just put up with a low result.
Or choose another item.
Or still choose USE courses on literature.
