Foundation and development
In the very first semester after the opening of the Eastern Economic and Law Humanitarian Academy, the faculties of law, pedagogy, and economics were opened for training. In 1994, the structure of the educational institution was fully provided in organizational terms, management bodies were formed, the basic topics of basic scientific research and training programs were outlined. Late 90s
In 1996, institutes for retraining and additional education were opened, as well as research institutes, branches, and Togliatti. An objective reflection of the successful activities of the university was confirmed by the positive conclusion of the State Attestation Commission.
Soon the graduation of the first bachelors took place at the faculties of journalism, philology, jurisprudence, and economics. The results of the work of the examination committee of the Economic and Legal Eastern Humanitarian Academy (VEGU) were reviewed by experts from the State Inspectorate for Certification of Higher Education Institutions of the Russian Federation, after which the institution received a certificate confirmed by the Ministry of General and Specialized Education of Russia (11.02.1997). In the summer of the same year, the Moscow Institute of Entrepreneurship and Economics was established.
In November 1997, the accreditation board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation decided to recognize the Academy as the highest educational institution, which has been accredited with the right to issue state diplomas in the category "Bachelor".
Further expansion
Time dictates its conditions, and the creation of a distance learning center at VEGU is a response to changing needs in the education industry. The network of representative offices also expanded significantly: the Sochi Institute was opened from the Eastern Economic and Law Humanitarian Academy, as well as branches in Magnitogorsk, Kumertau, and Tomsk. The university received a license for the right to train graduates. In 1999, the accreditation board once again recognizes VEGU as having received a legitimate state license with the right to issue diplomas of the "Specialist" level. In the same period, departments of the university were opened in Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan.
2000-2004
At the beginning of the 2000s, an educational children's building was opened at the Academy, which included kindergarten, elementary and Sunday school, preparatory college for high school students. In Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan, colleges of economic and legal direction are starting to work.
In December 2001, the collegium for attestation of universities adopted another resolution, on the basis of which VEGU teachers were allowed to be awarded academic titles associate professor and professor.
In 2002, the Eastern Economics and Law Humanities Academy in Ufa is undergoing a licensing examination, according to the order of the Ministry of Education dated 19.02.2002. This gives the university the right to carry out educational activities in the field of postgraduate vocational education (postgraduate studies). This category includes seven specialties. Successes in 2005
Humanitarian economic and legal eastern academy continues to expand the range of its activities. Another Faculty of Management opens and information technologies. The construction of an educational building in Kazan is being completed, which has become a kind of gift to the city on the occasion of its millennium. By decision of the rector, all INSTO students are transferred to this category in the field of computer testing technologies. Distance learning also started in Meleuz, Uralsk, Sterlitamak, Buzdyak, Tomsk Institute of Economics and Law of the Eastern Humanitarian Academy.
2006-2008: even more achievements
The university is included in the first league according to the study "Systems of independent assessment of professional indicators of graduates in terms of their competitiveness in the labor market." During this period, the Eastern Economic and Law Humanitarian Academy continues to expand. Samara, Magnitogorsk, Kazan are cities in which branches receive a state license.
INSTO develops and approves more than one hundred basic personal training schedules, which take into account the peculiarity of obtaining knowledge using distance learning methods.
In 2007, a new educational and administrative building on 7 floors was put into operation (in Ufa). The university successfully passes the next stage of state accreditation for a period of five years. Certified as part of the economic and legal humanitarian eastern academy: Sterlitamak Institute, branches in Sochi, Almetyevsk, Shcherbinka. 2009-2013
