Russian University of Cooperation- higher educational institution in the Russian Federation. Legal status - autonomous non-profit organization of higher vocational education Centrosoyuz of the Russian Federation. The university is certified, accredited, issues a state diploma.
The university implements a system of continuing professional education: higher, secondary and primary vocational education; second degree; postgraduate studies; doctoral studies; training courses; additional education programs.
The university trains students in 19 specialties. The university organizes training in 15 areas of undergraduate and 3 graduate programs, 18 programs of secondary vocational education (college) and 17 scientific specialties of postgraduate studies in full-time and correspondence forms learning. At the university you can get a European international education - training is conducted under the double diploma program. The university has three doctoral dissertation councils for the defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations.
The university has a developed infrastructure: modern lecture halls, computer classes with Internet access, an electronic reading room, a sports complex, a cinema and concert hall, comfortable hostels, a sanatorium in Kislovodsk.
About 50 thousand students study at the university and its 22 branches. Since 2008, the rector has been Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Vladimir Anatolyevich Krivoshey.
In accordance with the rating of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the university is among the ten leading economic universities in Russia. The Russian University of Cooperation is included in the register of the collection “Federal Directory. Education in Russia".

Story
History of creation and development Russian University cooperation began in the year when the higher cooperative school (courses) was created at the Moscow People's University named after A. L. Shanyavsky. History of the university
To date, the cooperative institute has crossed the mark of a century. In 2012, he turned no less than 100 years old. It began its history as a school of cooperation at the Shanyavsky Moscow People's University after the first Russian revolution. Even then, having everything necessary to be considered a higher educational institution, it produced highly qualified specialists in the field of cooperation: managers, accountants, clerks.
To date, the cooperative institute is the only educational institution in the world in the field of consumer cooperation. Unique due to its special training programs, distinguished by its specificity and the quality of the knowledge taught, the university consistently occupies high positions in the rankings of universities in the country and abroad.
Infrastructure of the educational institution
The Russian University of Cooperation is represented by a wide branch network throughout Russia. In total, 1 head university, 18 branches throughout the country, as well as 7 representative offices in different cities. Among the branches - CHKI RUK, that is, the Cheboksary branch, which will be discussed in the future.
The branch has a fairly branched structure that ensures the optimal functioning of the educational institution, the full implementation educational programs and an active student life. The cooperative institute includes a library, a practice and employment department, centers for additional profile education, information technology and research work, a center for youth policy, as well as a sports and fitness complex. In addition, the institute has a college that trains specialists with secondary vocational education, as well as postgraduate, graduate and distance education departments.

The Cooperative Institute supports the activities of several student organizations: legal clinic and literary and creative club.
- The student legal clinic was created by the decision of the Academic Council as one of the forms of education. It involves the provision of legal services to the population on a demon paid basis. Thus, students adapt to the professional environment, gain experience and do practical work, which is necessary for a full-fledged education.
- Literary and creative club "Sail" is designed to attract young people to literary life to teach how to correctly express their thoughts and convey them to the public. Members of the club regularly publish their works in the printed publication of the Institute "Student Bulletin".
Institute dormitories
For students from other cities, the cooperative institute (Cheboksary) provides hostels. At the moment, the school owns two buildings for these purposes. The total number of places for students is 620. The rooms are fully equipped with the necessary furniture. Places are provided by contract. The fee for a place in a hostel includes:
- payment for accommodation and maintenance of the premises at a rate of 37 rubles per square meter;
- repair fee - 8 rubles per square meter;
- utility bills.

What is required for admission
For admission to the RUK "Cooperative Institute of the city of Cheboksary" you must provide documents proving your identity and level of education. For admission to the bachelor's degree - a certificate of secondary general or a diploma of secondary vocational, for a master's degree - a diploma of higher education. Next, you need to provide USE results, or pass the entrance examinations, which the university arranges on its own. Enrollment is made on a competitive basis. Submission of documents to admission committee starts March 1st. The deadline for accepting documents for full-time education is August 19, for part-time education this date is December 5 (if you are taking internal exams of the institute). For those who enter without passing internal tests, the acceptance of documents ends on August 28 at face-to-face and December 12 for correspondence.
Special conditions for admission and study
Without entrance exams, the winners of the All-Russian School Olympiads are enrolled, who have confirmed their status with an appropriate document. Children with disabilities, orphans, as well as children with one parent with a disability of the 1st group, enjoy the advantage in enrollment.
Training is carried out on a contractual basis with full reimbursement of training costs. That is only on a paid basis. large quantity budget places not provided by the Institute. There are only seven of them and they are intended for the winners of the annual competition "Training at the expense of the university". Absolutely all students and applicants of RUK can participate in it. For applicants, the main condition for participation is high scores on the Unified State Examination (at least 90 points for each of the required subjects). If a student participates, he must not have debts, and performance indicators must be at high level. Students who are active in the scientific and creative environment can also participate. In this case, it is necessary that the participant of the competition has numerous victories in olympiads, regional and all-Russian scientific competitions, and so on. All victories must be confirmed by the diploma of the corresponding event.
Rector of the Cheboksary Cooperative Institute
The activities of any higher educational institution, its success, qualifications of the teaching staff, security material base and many other important aspects largely depend on the rector. It is he who directs the adoption of most decisions, it depends on him further development educational institution, its status, position in the rankings. Therefore, it is worth saying a few words about the person holding this position. From May 2006 to the present, this position has been occupied by Dr. historical sciences- Andreev Valery Vitalievich. Valery Vitalievich is the author of twenty-five scientific works. Terms of study in the specialties of secondary vocational education:
based on the main general education(9 classes) - 2 years 10 months, 3 years 10 months, depending on the specialty;
on the basis of secondary general education (11 classes) - 1 year 10 months, 2 years 10 months, depending on the specialty.
It is also possible to receive secondary vocational education in reduced and accelerated programs, depending on the sufficient level of previous training and (or) abilities.
Part-time (evening)
The total duration of sessions in academic year is on the 1st and 2nd course - 30 days each, on the 3rd and subsequent - 40 days each.
