The scientific activity of students and graduate students, along with the educational one, is important view organization of student activities at the university.
Main tasks scientific activity students is the creation of favorable conditions for the development of scientific abilities of students, the motivation of students to engage in scientific activities, the expansion of forms and types of scientific events, the formation of a personnel reserve at the university.
The following student scientific events are held annually in the Voronezh branch:
✔International scientific and practical student conferences. The guests of the Voronezh branch were students from different universities of the far and near abroad countries: the University. In 2014, the Voronezh branch was awarded two diplomas:

ISEF leadership sent a letter to the governor Voronezh region with the message that the Voronezh branch has become the best university in the region that organized the active participation of students in the Olympiad.

It should be noted that the research work of students is carried out on the topics of research work of departments and areas scientific research teachers, and is also conducted within the framework of the Student Scientific Society of the Voronezh branch.
The branch has 10 research circles, which unites more than 200 students:

9. Current state, problems and prospects for the development of trade.
10. Increasing the efficiency of labor in trade and public catering enterprises.
IN Voronezh branch presents ample opportunities for the implementation of the publication activity of students in collections of materials following the results of annual conferences published not only in the branch, but also in other universities.
The branch has an effective system of encouraging and stimulating students for achievements in research activities. Every year more than 10 students receive increased scholarship for performance in this area. The monthly scholarship in the first semester of 2014 was 8,900 rubles, in the second - 13,635 rubles.
Students of the branch are part of the Provisional creative teams created to perform economic and contractual work.
Young researchers demonstrate high level training, active civic and social positions, the desire to engage in science and participate in the socio-economic life of society.
The participation of graduate students, students of the branch in scientific events makes a significant contribution to the development of the youth research potential of the Voronezh region, thereby contributing to the competitiveness of the region.
November 23, 2016 on the basis of the Institute of Biology and Chemistry with the participation of the Educational and Scientific Center for Priority Research and Problems of Training Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel, the Institute of Physics, Technology and Information Systems, the Educational and Scientific Center for Ecology and Biodiversity, the Educational and Scientific Radiophysical Center, the Educational and The Scientific Center for Physiologically Active Organophosphorus Compounds and the Educational and Scientific Center for Functional and Nanomaterials hosted the Round Table of Young Scientists “Development of Scientific Creativity and Demand for the Results of Scientific Activities of Young People”.
The round table was held as part of the annual largest scientific forum of Moscow students, organized by the Moscow Student Center and the Council of Vice-Rectors of Russia - the scientific and practical conference "Student Science", with the support of the Moscow Government, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Council of Rectors of Moscow and Moscow Region Universities . The organizing committee was headed by the director of the UC PIiPPNPK Malandin V.V. Director of the Institute of Biology and Chemistry Pyatunina S.K. addressed the participant with an opening speech.
As part of the Round Table, a competition was held for the best scientific report-presentation. Professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Chulkova G.M. was elected the chairman of the jury. The jury was attended by leading scientists, heads of departments of the university: Doctor of Biological Sciences Kurchenko E.I., Candidate of Biological Sciences Potapov Mikhail Borisovich, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Rasadkina E.N. Actively participated in peer review reports of students of the Institute of Biology and Chemistry. Their opinion was taken into account when summing up the results of the competition.
Of the 17 participants, the jury determined the winners of the competition: 1st place was awarded to Evgenia Zubkova, a master student of the Institute of Physics, Technology and Information Systems, with a report on the topic “Development and creation of a planar Bragg waveguide for filtering infrared radiation on a chip” (the study was conducted on the basis of the Educational and Scientific Radiophysical Center) ; II place was taken by a master student of the Institute of Physics, Technology and Information Tekshina Ekaterina with a report on the topic “Photoanodes based on nanocrystalline titanium dioxide for solid-state solar cells” (the study was conducted on the basis of the Educational and Scientific Center for Functional and Nanomaterials); III place – master student of the Institute of Biology and Chemistry Ekaterina Sivoplyas with the report “Regulation of Dras1 gene expression using microRNA” (the study was conducted on the basis of the Educational and Scientific Center for Biochemistry and molecular biology them. We inform you about the holding at the Moscow State University for the Humanities and Economics from February 26 to March 15, 2019 of the Intra-university competition of youth copyright projects and projects in the field of education aimed at the socio-economic development of Russian territories, "My country is my Russia" (hereinafter - Contest).
The list of nominations of the Competition covers the entire spectrum of issues of socio-economic development of Russian territories, namely: "My Country", "My Family", "My Pedagogical Initiative", "My Native Language".
We invite students and faculty members to take part in the competition.

To participate in the competition, you must provide:

– abstracts (2-3 pages: short description project);

Conference
The Moscow Scientific and Practical Conference "Student Science" is the largest scientific forum in Russia, in which more than 18 thousand representatives participate every year high school from 179 educational institutions in Moscow and the Moscow region. The expert commission includes about 700 scientists. The conference is held on the basis of 77 universities, where experts and participants discuss topical issues modern science concerning various areas life of society: urban studies, biotechnologies, Agriculture, economy, innovation, culture, sports and much more.
The Student Science conference is annually attended by students and graduate students of various specialties: future psychologists and sociologists, international affairs and marketers, artists and engineers, geologists and customs officers, environmentalists and geneticists, oilmen and designers, musicians and athletes.
The purpose of the forum is to identify among the youth people who strive to expand their horizons, have a scientific imagination and are able to engage in science. The scientific and practical conference shows that any person open to the perception of a new person can prove himself in innovative activity.
Collection of theses "Student Science" is published annually. Also, at the best venues in the city of Moscow, award ceremonies are held with the participation of public and political figures, famous athletes and pop stars.

The student scientific journal "Via scientiarum - the Road of Knowledge" is a periodical publication in which articles of a theoretical and applied nature are published. The research topics are different and include not only the natural sciences and mathematics, but also the humanities. Such versatility allows students of different specialties to realize their scientific potential.
The magazine is published quarterly.

During the period of its existence, the University has been implementing many joint projects with representatives of Russian business structures.
- Together with the Cisco Networking Academy, the second intake of students was launched for free education at the CCNA course in 2013-2014 (network technologies). Courses are conducted remotely, which makes it easy to combine them with training on the main educational programs. After completing training at the Cisco Networking Academy, students will gain real practical experience of remote work on IT equipment. At the end of the training, students who successfully passed the exams receive a Cisco certificate.
- Open lectures-trainings with consultants of the HH.ru consulting center. As part of these events, students are told how to write and where to place their resume when looking for a job. Special attention focus on interviewing with employers. The lecture provides up-to-date information about possible locations internships for persons with disabilities and availability of vacancies. - The lectures of the extended Board of JSC Mobile TeleSystems allow students to understand how to learn how to manage themselves in order to achieve success in the future. Lectures are attended by top managers of the MTS company, as well as well-known personalities: astronauts, athletes, actors. These trainings allow you to look at the concept of “Self-Management” from different angles. A dense and rich program replenishes the box of practical knowledge of students.
- Schneider Electric Lectures. Schneider Electric is one of the recognized leaders in the energy industry in the world and the Russian Federation, and has been a strategic partner of our institute for a long time. During joint meetings, students are introduced to the areas of work of the company and demonstrate the latest developments of their energy-saving products, as well as provide information about the competitions held by the company and the summer school of internships. Getting to know employers
Professional knowledge acquired by students with handicapped health within the walls of the university, as well as the implementation of an individual program of psychological, pedagogical and social rehabilitation, allow our graduates to adequately represent themselves in the labor market and take their place in public life.
The issue of employment is resolved, as a rule, already during their studies, when, after the third year, students undergo pre-diploma practice. Practice
The implementation of practical training of students is carried out through educational and pre-diploma practices, the timing of which is set in accordance with the State Educational Standards, curriculum and curriculum of the educational process.
The practice is carried out in third-party organizations (enterprises, research institutes, firms) or at the departments and divisions of the university. The objectives of the practice are to consolidate theoretical and practical knowledge, adapt to the labor market, as well as the student gaining experience in solving real problems. The content of the practice is determined by the department, taking into account the interests and capabilities of the unit in which it is carried out.
The main bases for the practice of MSGEU students are basic industrial enterprises, research and commercial organizations, including: logistics company "FM Logistic"; Shneider Electric and SAP companies; "Russian State Library for Youth"; "HeadHunter.ru", with which the university has a contractual relationship. The existing student internship bases provide an opportunity for students with disabilities to have internships.
School of Sign Language
Since 2014, within the walls of the Russian State Library for Youth, 1-2 times a month, a meeting of the club "Without a barrier" has been held, in which our students study the problems of communication in sign language. Classes are conducted by Irina Solovyova, deputy. institute director special education and Comprehensive Rehabilitation of the Moscow City Pedagogical University, Ph.D., Associate Professor.
During the course, participants learn sign language, talk about the basics of volunteering and the principles of interaction with people deprived of sight and hearing, about the features of escort and assistance in emergency situations.
